The non-return valve ensures the flow of liquid in one direction and prevents its flow in the opposite direction. Protects systems against back pressure, back flow and back suction .

During the passage of the liquid through the flap, the current pushes the closing orifice against the retaining spring inside the flap and allows free flow. If the flow direction changed, the shut-off orifice would abut the sealing seat and prevent further flow. At zero flow, the damper is closed due to the action of the retaining spring.
