Download PDFThe Danfoss AVTA two-way thermostatic valve is used for proportional control of the cooling medium flow based on the set temperature on the sensor. The valve is self-acting, meaning it operates without the use of electricity or compressed air. It is used in both closed and waste cooling systems. It is designed for water, air, oil, and inert gases. The valve closes slowly with a low level of pressure surges.
The valve is actively resistant to impurities – the force-compensated design prevents particles from entering the valve and dirt from adhering to its opening. However, if impurities do settle in the valve, the sensor simply detects the need for increased flow, and the valve opens more to allow increased water flow, which releases the impurities.
The sensor with a universal charge contains a mixture of liquid and gas, with the surface of the liquid (control point) always located inside the sensor. It can be mounted in a place cooler or warmer than the valve installation site.
Operational economy and efficiency with the long-lasting durability of the valve are provided by the quality of the Danfoss brand.
