The Danfoss FJV valve ensures that the return water temperature in the return line is sufficiently cooled to the desired value before it flows back into the district heating system. The regulator closes as the temperature rises.

The regulator consists of a control valve, a thermostatic actuator, and a head that allows for temperature adjustment. The thermostatic actuator is made up of a bellows. Installation is possible in both the supply and return pipes.
