The regulator is continuously adjustable for pressure differences of 5-30 kPa. It is suitable for heating or cooling applications demanding high temperature or high-pressure difference. Installation is carried out on the return pipe on both the primary and secondary sides of systems in the flow direction indicated on the body of the regulator. The operation of the regulator is very quiet. Thanks to the measuring nipples, precise balancing processes are achieved.

Construction and Function

1. Diaphragm - the diaphragm is acted upon by pressure from the supply pipe through the impulse pipe Δp+ and thus closes the regulator

2. Vent screws - after filling the system, it is advisable to vent the body of the regulator

3. Spring - acts on the diaphragm from the other side and, together with the pressure conducted through the integrated channel from the return pipe, causes the valve to open

4. Locking screw - ensures the setting of the value on the ring

5. Adjustment ring - influences the strength of the spring. When the strength of the spring and the pressures acting on the diaphragm are balanced, a constant pressure difference is achieved.
