In addition to the standard manufacturing process, actuators can also be produced with ± 10% stroke adjustment, 180° rotation, and three closing positions (closed, open, half-open). The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) has issued the IEC 61108 standard, which defines safety requirements. Both the device and the system must meet all categories of requirements to achieve SIL certification. The SIL 3 level allows for the possibility of a dangerous product error once every 1,140 years.
