The channel sensor QPM2162 of the STANDARD series is used to measure air quality, relative humidity and temperature in pipes and channels . The sensor checks the CO2 level , humidity and temperature in the flowing air in the ventilation or air conditioning systems . Sensing is based on the principle of optical measurement of infrared absorption . The sensors can be used to regulate supply or exhaust air or as elements of the building control system. The sensor is ideally suited for rooms where a large number of people gather, such as schools, museums, study rooms, auditoriums, theaters, cinemas, offices and others, where smoking is not permitted at the same time.

This sensor is not intended as a smoke or gas leak warning. At the same time, the sensors are not intended for outdoor use.
