Passive sensor for measuring the air temperature in ventilation ducts. It consists of a two-part housing and a flexible capillary that is active along its entire length.

For use in ventilation, air conditioning and heating systems such as:

• Supply or exhaust air temperature sensor
• Limiting sensor, eg to limit the minimum supply air temperature
• Reference sensor, eg for changing the room temperature setpoint with respect to the outdoor temperature
• Measuring sensor, eg for measuring the value of a controlled variable in the control system

The temperature is measured by a sensor whose electrical resistance changes depending on the change in temperature. The measured data are sent for further processing to the respective connected unit.
