Download PDFThe fine DUPLEX rainwater filter FF40 from Honeywell with a screen and cartridge. The filter is used for the treatment and purification of rainwater for simple systems for irrigation, flushing, washing, and other technical purposes where drinking water is not required. The polypropylene cartridge prevents the penetration of rust particles, sand, and others, thereby reducing the likelihood of corrosion and protecting the plumbing system from clogging. The activated carbon cartridge filters dissolved organic material and chlorine. The filter ensures a continuous supply of filtered water.
As water flows through the filter screen, particles are trapped on its outer side. In the next stage, the water flows through the activated carbon cartridge, which filters fine particles, removes unpleasant odours and tastes caused by chlorine or other substances. It also removes pesticides, insecticides, and chlorinated solvents. For hygienic reasons, the filter cartridge must be replaced every 6 months.
