Room temperature control

The head reads the room temperature from the space approx. 20 cm in front of the display. This is thanks to several integrated sensors. The head continuously monitors the difference between the current and setpoint temperature and adjusts the heating according to the measured values.

Beware of external influences such as sunlight or a fireplace, which can affect the measured values.

The display shows the set desired temperature, not the current room temperature.

Basic modes

You can choose from three basic preset programs in the Danfoss Eco App. Use Home mode every time you spend time in your home. It heats the room to 22 ° C. If you spend more time away from home, you will use the Out of Home program, which will reduce the temperature to 17 ° C so that it does not heat up unnecessarily when it is not needed. This also reduces energy consumption. The same program can be used at night, when it is better to sleep in a colder room and do not need to heat as much. The last preset mode is Holiday, which sets the temperature to a maintenance of 15 ° C. All preset values can be reset.

The head is equipped with self-adaptive learning. During the first week of operation, they will learn when it is best to start heating so that the desired temperature is reached at the right time according to the characteristics of the room. In addition, it takes into account seasonal temperature changes in individual periods.

Tailor-made

vYou can set the heating exactly according to your time schedule, so that it is heated exactly when you use it the most. In the application, you simply plan when you want to start which mode. You can set up to three temperature reductions per day and copy this schedule to other days. Or you can precisely set the intervals and temperature values that you want to reach in these time intervals.

Open window function

The head detects that the window is open by the sudden drop in temperature and closes the valve for thirty minutes so that the room does not heat up for free. This reduces heat and loss and saves costs. After thirty minutes, the head is turned on again and the valve is opened to reheat the room to the desired temperature. The Open Window function cannot be started for another 45 minutes. For this function, it is especially necessary that the head is not covered by curtains or furniture and that cold air can get to it without any problems.

For a holiday in peace

In Vacation mode, you can set the hour and day of departure and arrival in advance, or turn it "from now on" to off. The temperature will then automatically decrease throughout the holiday. Even with the exact time interval Holiday, it is possible to turn it off in case of early return, or change the dates and times. It is also possible to modify or completely cancel the future Holiday plan, if you do not have to go on holiday at all in the end.

Connection adapters

The head can be fitted with a large number of valves of various brands, not only Danfoss. In the package you will find a number of adapters for individual types of valves and a key, according to which you can find out which valve you already have at home and which adapter to choose for it. Replacing existing heads with new Danfoss Eco smart heads is very easy and there is no need for complicated construction modifications or valve replacements.
