Emergency actuator Belimo series SFA-S2 for HVAC dampers or ball valves (e.g., Giacomini R250D with adapter). The actuator is designed for damper sizes up to approx. 4m2. The actuator control is open/close. The actuator includes two auxiliary switching contacts.

Function

In the event of a power interruption, the return spring begins to rotate the actuator to its default position. For example, in case of a power failure, it closes the damper or ball valve. The same can be achieved in reverse, depending only on the initial position of the damper.

  • The actuator can be operated manually using a locking button and manual crank.

  • The actuator is protected against overload, no end stops are required.
  • Simple installation on the damper shaft using a universal bracket.
  • Adjustable operating angle with mechanical stop.
  • The actuator can be equipped with auxiliary switching contacts S...A or a feedback potentiometer.
