Belimo TF fail-safe actuator for HVAC dampers. The actuator is designed for damper sizes up to approx. 0.4 m2. The actuator is controlled either open/close or by three-point control.

Function

In the event of a power supply interruption, the return spring starts to rotate the actuator to its default position. For example, in the event of a power failure, it closes the damper or ball valve. The same can also be achieved in reverse; it depends only on the damper's default position.
