Download PDFEURA 2" Check Valve, PN10 is a threaded non-return valve, DN 50, for water and heating distribution systems. It ensures liquid flow in one direction only and prevents flow in the opposite direction, thereby protecting the system against back pressure, reverse flow and back siphonage.
The valve is used in water distribution systems, heating systems and air-conditioning circuits where it is necessary to prevent unwanted reverse flow of the medium. The 2" threaded connection allows easy installation into existing pipework without the need for welding or a flanged joint.
As the liquid flows through the valve, it pushes the closing disc against the retaining spring inside the body, allowing free flow. If the flow direction reverses, the disc seats against the sealing seat and prevents any further flow. At zero flow, the valve remains closed due to the action of the spring, regardless of the installation position.
