EURA 1/2", PN10 check valve is a spring-loaded non-return valve made of brass, designed for water supply, heating, air-conditioning and pneumatic systems. It allows the medium to flow in one direction only and reliably shuts it off when the flow stops or reverses.

Where the valve can be used

The valve is suitable for water, heating, air-conditioning and compressed air systems. It can be installed in any position – vertically, horizontally or at an angle. It is typically fitted downstream of a pump, water meter or another component that needs to be protected against backflow.

Installation and operation

The valve must be installed in the direction of flow indicated by the arrow on the body. Near elbows or circulation pumps, it should be installed at a distance of at least 10 times the pipe diameter to ensure stable flow. Sealing material (PTFE, hemp) should be applied to the thread only – any excess could impair the rubber-to-metal sealing surface.

The valve can be installed in any position – vertically, horizontally or at an angle. However, the direction of flow indicated by the arrow on the valve body must always be observed.

Apply sealing material (PTFE, hemp) to the thread only – any excess may impair the sealing surface between the rubber and the metal. Near elbows and pumps, maintain a clearance of at least 10 times the pipe diameter.

Leakage is usually caused by deposits (dirt, limescale) on the rubber seal. Remove the valve and clear the foreign matter using compressed air or hand tools.

The valve is intended for domestic water supply systems, heating systems, air-conditioning equipment and compressed air distribution systems.
