Download PDFEURA 1" check valve, PN10 is a fitting that ensures liquid flows in one direction only. It protects the piping system against back pressure, reverse flow and back siphonage of the medium.
The valve is used in water distribution systems, heating systems and air-conditioning circuits – wherever it is necessary to prevent unwanted liquid flow in the opposite direction. The 1" threaded connection makes it suitable for standard domestic as well as smaller commercial installations.
During normal flow, the liquid flow pushes the closing disc against the retaining spring, allowing the medium to pass through freely. If the flow direction were to reverse, the disc seats against the sealing seat and stops the flow. At zero flow, the spring keeps the valve closed. The internal parts of the valve are made of plastic.
