For this product, we offer a drive assembly service with a valve. More information

Belimo emergency actuator of the EF series for air dampers or ball valves (eg Giacomini R250D with adapter ). The actuator is designed for damper sizes up to approx. 6m2 . The drive control is open / closed .

Function

In the event of a power failure, the return spring begins to rotate the actuator to the home position. E.g. closes the damper or ball valve in the event of a power failure. The same can be achieved the other way around, it only depends on the initial position of the damper.

The actuator can be operated manually using the locking button and the handwheel.

Properties

  • Power supply 230V
  • The actuator is protected against overload, no end stops are required.
  • Easy mounting on the damper shaft using a universal caliper.
  • Adjustable working angle with mechanical stop.
  • The actuator can be retrofitted with auxiliary changeover contacts S ... A or with a feedback potentiometer.

Shaft stabilizer

The actuator is equipped in the factory setting with a shaft stabilizer for stabilizing the damper set, damper shaft and actuator . It consists of two plastic support rings and is retained or removed (possibly partially) depending on the installation situation and the diameter of the shaft.

In the case of mounting a long shaft with a diameter of 12-20 mm, it is necessary to use a stabilizer. It is not necessary to use a stabilizer with a shaft diameter of 21-26.7 mm.

If a short shaft is fitted, the stabilizer can be removed.
