Gas Concentration Detection Sensor Evikon E2638-R-LPG-LCD

The gas concentration detection sensor (gas detector) is designed to detect and provide early warning of dangerous (explosive or toxic) concentrations of the monitored gas. The sensor is suitable for use in underground garages, boiler rooms, kitchens, and other enclosed spaces where dangerous amounts of gas may accumulate. The detector is equipped with a two-stage alarm system – visual (LCD display) and audible (85db). Additionally, two output relays (voltage-free) with a switching contact can be used for remote signaling or control of ventilation/EM valve, etc. The sensor is built on the unified PluraSens platform. The platform allows the detector to connect, besides switching relays, also with two analog outputs 0-10V / 4-20mA and a digital ModBus RS485 interface.
Manufactured in a robust design with IP65 protection - ABS plastic, resistant to mechanical damage. Rigid, tough, resistant to low and high temperatures, low absorbency, non-toxic.

The sensor's lifespan is more than 10 years.

The default alarm values are set at 10% and 20% of the lower explosive limit of propane (LEL). The detector also responds to other flammable gases. The recommended coverage area for one sensor is 80-120 m², 5-6m radius.

Each sensor is factory-calibrated to default values (10 and 20% LEL). The law states that recalibration must be performed at least once every 12 months. Calibration can only be performed by a person certified by the manufacturer.
