The E2639 gas detector is fitted with a replaceable GSH Smart Sensor connected via an industrial M12 connector. The sensor modules are fully interchangeable – with no need to open the instrument housing or carry out recalibration, as each GSH module is supplied pre-calibrated. An integrated calendar in the module monitors the calibration interval and indicates when servicing is required.
