Flammable Gas Sensor is used to measure the values of detected gas in the air and to provide timely warnings of dangerous (toxic) concentrations. The sensor is suitable for use in underground garages, boiler rooms, kitchens, and other enclosed spaces where there is a possibility of dangerous gas accumulation. Gas concentration sensors are typically used in combination with a gas detection control panel in a safe zone (outside Ex).

It does not have its own light and sound signaling. The E2670 series sensors are an intelligent solution for modern applications with ModBus RS485 communication and two analog outputs 4-20mA/0-10V. The sensors need to be connected to a control panel that processes and evaluates the collected data.

Manufactured in a robust aluminum design with IP66 protection, resistant to mechanical damage. Rigid, tough, resistant to low and high temperatures, non-hazardous to health. Suitable for use in ATEX zones 2 and 22. More details about ATEX can be found in the declaration of conformity and technical data sheet.

Each sensor is factory-calibrated to default values (described in the manual). The law requires recalibration at least once every 12 months. Calibration can only be performed by a person certified by the manufacturer.

The recommended coverage area for one sensor is 80-120 m², with a radius of 5-6 m.
