Circulator pump ALPHA3 is designed for heating systems in family houses. It offers proven Grundfos quality, easy installation, first-class energy efficiency and reliable operation even under the most demanding conditions.

For the perfect use of ALPHA3, however, the plumbers need two more important elements - the ALPHA Reader and the Grundfos GO Balance application. This modern ALPHA3 system allows plumbers to complete hydronic balancing quickly and accurately.

FUNCTIONS

AUTOADAPT

Intelligent control mode, which always chooses the most suitable pump operating point depending on the actual heat supply to the building (weather changes). The AUTOADAPT function ensures unattended operation - the pump operates autonomously and over time adjusts its performance to operating conditions in the system.

Adjustment to proportional pressure

The pump adjusts the flow height of the current flow in the system, thus increasing the flowrate with the increasing flow height. Suitable control for fluctuating flow and high temperature differential systems, especially for a standard two-pipe heating system.

Constant pressure control

The pump maintains constant pressure in the system regardless of the flow rate. Suitable control for constant flow and low differential temperature systems, especially for underfloor heating and single-pipe heating system.

Constant speed control

The pump operates at fixed speed stages I, II, III - equivalent to old three-speed pumps. Appropriate regulation for constant flow systems, especially for hot water circulation systems.

HYDRONIC BALANCE

With the ALPHA3 pump, ALPHA Reader and Grundfos GO Balance, the plumber performs hydronic balancing easily and quickly, without adversely affecting pump operation or efficiency.

Hydronic balancing with ALPHA3 and ALPHA Reader can be used with:

- Two-pipe heating systems

ALPHA READER

The ALPHA Reader is a small device that is mounted on the front of the ALPHA3 pump. During the balancing, it scans the optical signal on the pump and communicates with the Grundfos GO Balance via Bluetooth.
Once the hydronic balancing is complete, it is possible to simply remove the ALPHA Reader and use it for the next installation.

GRUNDFOS GO BALANCE APPLICATION

You can download Grundfos GO Balance from the App Store or Google Play. The application evaluates the Bluetooth signal from the ALPHA Reader module and takes you through four simple steps of the hydronic balancing of the heating system.
