The Grundfos Comfort series circulation pump is particularly suitable for use in family houses or apartments. The pump ensures an instant supply of hot water without the need to run off large amounts of cold water from the pipes. This provides a high level of comfort for the user.

Description of the AUTOADAPT function

The Autoadapt function works on the principle of continuously identifying the time periods during which hot water is used in the given household or building. Based on this information, the pump electronics start the pump only when there is a probability of hot water demand. This data is stored in its calendar, which it continuously updates, thereby adapting the pump start times accordingly. Records from the last two weeks are used. The calendar also distinguishes between weekdays and weekends. With this method of control, electricity savings are very high, especially compared to older types of circulation pumps.

Once a week, the Autoadapt function ensures disinfection of the system (elimination of Legionella bacteria) by switching on at a time when the heat source significantly increases the water temperature.
