Description of individual components

Self-priming pump

Self-priming centrifugal pump Grundfos JP5 with axial inlet and radial outlet. The suction lift of the pump is up to 8 meters.

Usage

The self-priming pump is suitable for pumping water in households, gardens, for irrigation or for use in agriculture.

Materials

Stainless steel pump housing and impeller. The pump is equipped with a mechanical carbon/ceramic seal.

Pressure control unit

The Grundfos PM 1 / 2.2 pressure control unit is suitable for automatically switching on or off the pump (eg for domestic water supply). The unit is therefore suitable for applications where it is required to switch on the pump depending on the actual water demand.

Functions

The pump is switched on at a pressure of 2.2 bar. The PM 1 unit switches on the pump when the switching pressure is reached and the pump remains in operation until a small flow is reached.

The control unit includes dry running and anti-cyclical protection.
