SQ pumps are designed for pumping thin, clean, non-aggressive and non-explosive liquids that do not contain mechanical or fibrous impurities. Grundfos SQ series pumps are made of AISI 304 stainless steel, which is suitable for contact with drinking water.
The pump is supplied with a 30 m cable.

The pumps are protected against dry running. If there is insufficient water in the borehole, the pump switches off automatically, preventing overheating and damage to the motor winding. However, this function serves only as emergency protection. In the event of low borehole yield, the pump must be supplemented with external level monitoring.

The electrohydraulic design ensures high efficiency for this pump, which is reflected in low electricity consumption and therefore also low operating costs. The motors are designed according to the permanent magnet principle (PM motor). This is the most advanced type of synchronous electric motor, characterised by high efficiency and reliability over a wide performance range.
