Submersible Pumps SQ

SQ pumps are designed for pumping thin, clean, non-aggressive, and non-explosive liquids that do not contain mechanical or fibrous impurities. Grundfos SQ series pumps are made of stainless steel AISI 304, which is suitable for contact with drinking water.

The pump includes a 30m cable.

The SQ pump is ideal for ensuring water supply in the private sector, especially in single-family homes and cottages that are not connected to the public water supply. 

Dry Run Protection

The pumps are protected against dry running. In case of insufficient water in the well, the pump automatically shuts off to prevent overheating and damage to the motor winding. However, this function is only for emergency purposes. In case of low well yield, the pump should be supplemented with external level monitoring.

High Efficiency of Pump and Motor

The electrohydraulic design ensures high efficiency for this pump, which is reflected in low electricity consumption, and thus in low operating costs. The motors are designed in accordance with the permanent magnet principle (PM motor). This is the most modern type of synchronous electric motor, characterized by high efficiency and reliability across a wide performance range. The same type of motors is used, for example, in electric vehicles. Reliability and efficiency are also supported by auxiliary elements such as:

• Tungsten carbide or technical ceramic bearings
• Axial bearings as protection against upward axial pressure
• Lifespan comparable to traditional motors
