The HF 3415 filter removes dirt, rust and metal particles from the heating system and automatically vents it . It filters coarse-grained and fine-grained impurities, magnetically captures metal parts, removes sludge and corrosive gases such as oxygen and nitrogen. Everything is easily cleaned by backwashing. The filter protects heat pumps, valves and radiators and thus prolongs their service life.

Parts of the filter are made of high quality brass alloy and stainless steel , others of durable elastomer. The filter chamber contains a core with a magnetic rod and synthetic beads , a backwash filter and an automatic air deaerator .

The filter installation is always in a vertical position , although the filter can be connected to both vertical and horizontal pipes. The connection to the system is made using flanges, which must be purchased (not included in the filter package). However, there are exactly two connection sizes to choose from - DN 25-32.

The HF 3415 heating filter is recommended to be combined with the Combi BA 6628 filling device, which fills the heating systems with water and at the same time prevents the heating water from being sucked back into the drinking water system. Together with the filter, they form an ideal combination for the protection of the drinking and heating system , reduce maintenance costs, extend the life of the system, are noisy and ensure optimal heat transfer.

Bead technology

In the filter chamber there is a magnetic rod and synthetic beads, which are charged with an electrostatic charge by a constant flow of water in the system. Impurities and particles in the water are then trapped on these beads and on the magnet well.

Venting

The air in the heating system passes through a filter, where it is collected and stored, which is then released by automatic deaeration. The water leaving the filter is thus completely free of all unwanted bubbles.

Magnetic rod

In the core of the filter there is a magnetic rod placed in a plastic well. Metal particles from the pipe passing through the filter are attached to the plastic sump and remain on it. As a result, the magnet is not clogged or dirty. The well is cleaned by backwashing and pulling out the magnetic rod.

Backwash

When the filter valve is opened, normal operating flow is interrupted and backflushing is started. The rinsing cancels the charge on the synthetic beads and removes any accumulated dirt. The filter can be retrofitted with RSA automatic backflushing , which ensures automatic backflushing at set time intervals.
