Honeywell Lyric smart thermostat

Honeywell Lyric T6 digital programmable thermostat is another product from the smart home range. This intelligent thermostat lets you to control the heating with your phone or tablet from almost anywhere. All you need is an internet connection. It has Wi-Fi communication to connect to Internet.

There are two variants of these Honeywell thermostats - Lyric T6 wired wall thermostat, and Lyric T6R wireless thermostat that has a stand for surface installation (such as a table). The Lyric T6R thermostat makes it thus ideal solution for your home. It requires only mains power, and it communicates wirelessly with the boiler control unit.

Lyric is controlled with the Honeywell Home mobile app, which is available to download for free from the App Store (for iOS devices) and Google Play (for Android). With the app, it is very easy to set the temperature at a set time for any selected room in your home. Or for heaters to operate simultaneously and at a constant temperature. You can also create more heating zones.

The Honeywell Lyric smart thermostat can be programmed remotely, so you heat your home, for example, before you come home from work or before you return from vacation. The Honeywell Lyric T6 digital programmable thermostat will of course provide heating control, for example in your cottage or chalet. It is also possible to set a weekly heating schedule. The user interface in the Honeywell Home app allows you to make changes quickly and, most importantly, clearly.

Smart Honeywell Lyric calculates how long it takes for the heating system in your property to heat up to the desired temperature, so you will never have to guess when to turn on the heating - ensuring savings on energy costs. For this purpose, a very desirable feature of this thermostat is geofencing. Geofencing controls heating based on your location. You will especially appreciate tthis function when you do not have a regular daily schedule and you come home at different times. Honeywell Lyric thermostat automatically adapts to your life rhythm. Depending on the location of your smartphone or tablet, the app determines whether you are away from home (heating at the lowest power saves energy) or returning home (switches on the heating in advance and heats your home up to a pleasant temperature before you arrive).

Lyric T6 is also compatible with the Apple HomeKit, Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa and other smart home systems. The only exception is that the Lyric T6 thermostat cannot be used in the evohome heating systems. Otherwise, it is suitable for most hot water heating systems. Lyric is also compatible with combi-boliers and gas or oil boilers.

The Honeywell Lyric T6 is part of the Lyric platform, which also includes the C1 and C2 security cameras, and the W1 Wi-Fi water leak and freeze detector. You can connect these accessories to the Lyric T6 thermostat using Honeywell Home for additional safety features. Each product in this line can work independently, but together they provide a smart control of your home.
