Peveko Smart Valve

The smart valve from Peveko is an intelligent guardian for your home, cottage or business premises. Its main task is to detect a problem in time and act immediately – in other words, shut off the water supply before major damage occurs.

How does the Peveko smart valve work?

The system is based on a combination of a motorised valve and wireless flood sensors. Put simply, the smart valve is a ball valve with an electric actuator, shut-off and two-way. These sensors are small and are installed on the floor in places where the risk of leakage is highest:

  • under the sink, washbasin or bath,
  • by the toilet,
  • by the washing machine or dishwasher.

As soon as the sensor comes into contact with water, it immediately sends a signal to the valve, which automatically shuts off the main water supply. The nature of the fault (burst pipe vs overflowing bath) does not matter – the system responds within seconds.

Control from anywhere: App and higher-level Smart Home system

Peveko focuses on maximum connectivity. You are informed about everything happening in the house via a mobile app (using the open and secure SUPLA system as standard).

  • WiFi connection: Allows you to control the valve over the internet from your mobile phone or tablet. Forgot to turn off the water before leaving for holiday? You can do it with a single click in the app.
  • Pre-configured connectivity: Peveko offers smart valve variants pre-configured for the most common systems such as LOXONE, JABLOTRON, FIBARO and PARADOX

Technical superiority and durability

The Peveko valve is not just an “electronic gadget”, but a solid piece of engineering:

  • Material: The valve body is made of stainless steel, ensuring an extremely long service life and meeting the strictest certifications for drinking water.
  • Durability: The device can handle pressure up to 10 bar (PN10) and a medium temperature of up to 90 °C. Thanks to its IP54 protection rating, splashing water is no problem either.
  • Backup power supply: The integrated battery keeps the valve operating for up to 12 hours during a power outage. Power is supplied via a USB adapter (standard USB-C), but solar panels or a power bank can also be used.
  • Feedback: Thanks to the limit switches, you always know with complete certainty in the app whether the valve is in the “open” or “closed” position.
  • Manual operation: If necessary, the valve can always be operated manually using the lever included in the package.

An advantage of the smart valve is its integrated battery with a life of up to 12 hours, so even a possible power outage will not immediately put your home at risk of flooding. The valve is powered via a USB adapter from the mains. Thanks to its low power consumption, however, you can also power the valve via a solar panel. Battery life can also be extended using a suitable power bank. So you do not need either an electrical connection or sunshine. Last but not least, the battery can also be replaced easily.

Smart Home compatibility

The product is designed as an open system. You can easily connect it to your existing alarm system (Jablotron and others) or smart home systems. The smart valve can be connected to security systems or smart home solutions. Regardless of brand, Peveko is ready to communicate with various standards.

Conclusion: An investment that pays for itself at the first incident

The Peveko smart valve is an investment in peace of mind. While you are asleep or at work, the system watches over your property. Installation is quick and, thanks to the wireless sensors, requires no building modifications indoors.

The smart valve informs you about everything via a mobile app. It can be controlled over the internet thanks to WiFi. So you can control the valve wherever you are. It does not matter if you forget to turn off the water supply at home or at your country house. Thanks to the wireless connection, the smart valve can also be conveniently controlled in hard-to-reach areas of the home.

The smart valve from the family company Peveko belongs to the group of interesting smart home products – that is, an intelligent home. This valve will protect your flat, house, cottage or country house from flooding. Even in the event of a small water leak, the smart valve will automatically shut off the water supply. So it does not matter what the nature of the fault is – whether a pipe bursts, a toilet leaks, or the washing machine in the bathroom breaks down.

The PEVEKO smart valve works thanks to a flood sensor, which is small, wireless and is usually installed on the floor or in places where it can come into contact with leaking water as quickly as possible – so that the signal is sent to the valve immediately. Recommended locations are under the sink, washbasin or bath, by the toilet, washing machine or dishwasher.
