Smart Valve Peveko

The PEVEKO smart valve operates thanks to a so-called flood sensor, which is small, wireless, and is usually installed on the floor or in places where it can come into contact with leaking water the quickest – so that the signal is immediately sent to the valve. Recommended placements are under the sink, washbasin, or bathtub, near the toilet, washing machine, or dishwasher.

The smart valve informs you about all activities via a mobile application. It can be controlled via the internet thanks to WiFi. So you can manage the valve no matter where you are. It doesn't matter if you forget to turn off the water supply at home or at the cottage. Thanks to the wireless connection, you can also conveniently control the smart valve in hard-to-reach areas of the home.

If you purchase a remote control – a so-called key fob – or a GSM module, you can control the smart valve via SMS, even if you are not connected to the internet. This way, you will always have control over your property, all you need is a mobile phone or tablet.

You can connect the smart valve to security systems or smart home solutions. In this case, the brand does not matter, as the product from Peveko is compatible with systems from various manufacturers.

An advantage of the smart valve is its integrated battery with a lifespan of up to 12 hours, so even a power outage will not immediately endanger your home from flooding. The valve is powered via a USB adapter from the electrical grid. However, due to its low consumption, you can also power the valve via a solar panel. The battery life can also be extended using a suitable power bank. Therefore, you don't need an electrical connection or sunlight. The battery can also be easily replaced.

The smart valve is a type of ball valve with an electric actuator, shut-off, and two-way. It is made of stainless steel (which guarantees long life), has certification for drinking water, and is designed for temperatures up to 90 °C and pressures up to 8 bar (usually between 2 and 4 bar). The smart valve is not affected by splashing water – IP 54.

Consumers will surely appreciate that the valve can be opened manually, as each package includes a lever for manual operation. And since the smart valve is equipped with end switches, you will always know whether the valve is in the open or closed position. The device sends this information to the mobile application.
