The D22 series brass pressure reducing valve protects the piping system and connected appliances against excessive mechanical stress. Prevents damage caused by excessive compressive stress. Despite fluctuations in the inlet pressure, its consistency is ensured thanks to the adjustable outlet pressure. It is used mainly in households , but within the range of technical parameters it can also be installed in commercial and industrial buildings .

Properties:

  • inlet pressure equalization - inlet pressure fluctuations do not affect the outlet pressure
  • adjustable outlet pressure in the range 1.5 ... 6 bar with adjusting screw
  • the adjusting spring is not in contact with the medium
  • internal threads
  • compact design
  • low weight
  • short installed length
  • certified according to 97/23 / EC, number CE0035

How the valve works

Spring-loaded pressure reducing valves operate using a system of equal forces. The force of the diaphragm acts against the force of the spring, causing the valve to open or close. If sampling occurs, the outlet pressure decreases, the diaphragm force drops and the spring can open the valve. Without sampling, the outlet pressure then increases, the diaphragm force rises and the valve closes. The inlet pressure has no effect on the opening / closing of the valve.

We recommend installing a filter in front of the valve.
