Wireless Thermostatic Head from Honeywell is designed to control a heating unit communicating at a frequency of 868 MHz. The head is compatible with the Evohome smart heating system. A major advantage of the head is its backlit, position-adjustable display. The choice of position improves readability. To illuminate the display, simply press a button or turn the head.

To set the temperature, you can use the connected thermostat or simply manually turn the head. This allows for temperature changes at any time. Additionally, the head is equipped with a "Window" function, which detects when a window is opened in the room. It automatically closes the radiator valve and shuts off the supply of heating water to prevent unnecessary heating and save on energy costs. The "Window" function operates based on a sudden drop in temperature due to ventilation, and after the window is closed and the temperature rises again, the head reopens the valve to heat the room to the desired temperature. External window contacts HCA30 can be purchased to accelerate the head's response to an open window. Another useful feature is frost protection, where the head automatically turns on the heat supply when the room temperature drops to 5°C and heats the room until at least 6°C is reached.

Thanks to quick and easy installation, there is no need to drain water from the heating system. Primarily, the valve is equipped with a connection adapter size M30x1.5, but the package also includes an adapter size M28x1.5 and an adapter for Danfoss RA valve. The head is battery-powered by two AA 1.5 V batteries.
