Wireless thermostatic head from the brand Honeywell is designed to control the heating element communicating at a frequency of 868 MHz. The head is compatible with the Evohome smart heating system. A major advantage of the head is the backlit, position-adjustable display. Choosing the position improves readability. To illuminate the display, simply press a button or turn the head.

To set the temperature, you can use the connected thermostat or simply manually turn the head. The temperature can thus be changed at any time. The head is also equipped with a "Window" function, so it recognizes when a window is opened in the room. It then automatically closes the radiator valve and shuts off the supply of heating water, so the ventilated room is not unnecessarily heated and energy costs are saved. The "Window" function works based on a sudden drop in temperature due to ventilation, after closing the window and the temperature rises again, the head reopens the valve and heats the room to the appropriate temperature. External window contacts HCA30 can be purchased for the head, which accelerates the head's response to an open window. Another useful feature is frost protection, where the head automatically turns on the heat supply when the room temperature drops to 5 °C and heats the room until at least 6 °C is reached.
