Download PDFThe detector detects the presence of carbon monoxide in the air. Carbon monoxide is a toxic gas without taste or smell. Its presence in the home should be avoided. The R200C-2 detector is precisely for these situations. When the safe threshold level of gas in the air is exceeded, the detector triggers an alarm.
The detector is suitable for placement in homes and recreational properties such as holiday homes and cottages, caravans, motorhomes, and boats. The device is installed in rooms containing a fuel appliance, but it is also suitable for placement in rooms where we spend most of our time, such as bedrooms or living rooms.
With a slight increase in Carbon Monoxide, the detector does not trigger the alarm immediately. It waits to see if the concentration decreases again. Response to different levels of carbon monoxide concentration:
