Thermostatic heads Thera-3 are installed on valve bodies (TRV). The thermostatic head, in combination with TRV, regulates room temperature by controlling the flow of heating water into the heating device. TRVs are installed in water heating systems at the inlet or (less commonly) at the outlet connection of radiators or other heating systems. The heads comply with European standards ČSN EN215.

Thermostatic heads of this type with a connection thread M30 × 1.5 are suitable for all TRV bodies and radiator inlets with a connection thread M30 × 1.5 and an 11.5 mm control pin. Heads with a connection for Danfoss are suitable for TRV bodies and valve inserts with a connection compatible with Danfoss (RA). Thermostatic heads with Herz (Hz) connection are suitable for TRV bodies with a connection M28 × 1.5 and a 9.5 mm control pin.
