InBox – Variants and Compatibility with Actuators

InBox is a safety terminal block used for the secure connection of electrical systems to an actuator.

InBox Variants and Compatible Actuators:

• InBox-3P

  • Compatibility: Actuators InMax... and InMax...-F with open-close function and three-point control
  • Description: Basic version of the terminal block for simple actuator control

• InBox-Y/S

  • Compatibility: Actuators InMax...-Y with continuous control (0–10 V / 4–20 mA) or ExMax...-S with integrated auxiliary switches
  • Description: Extended variant for advanced actuator control

• InBox-BF

  • Compatibility: Actuators InMax...-BF with safety stop and temperature sensor
  • Description: Special version allowing quick safety shutdown of the system

• InBox-3P/SW, InBox-Y/S/SW, InBox-BF/SW

  • Compatibility: These variants with InSwitch
  • Description: Adapted for connecting an auxiliary switch, allowing additional control functions

• InSwitch is an external auxiliary switch designed for use in explosive environments. It contains two potential-free contacts that can be individually set to switch at desired actuator positions. This flexibility allows precise adjustment of switching points to specific application requirements. InSwitch is compatible with InMax series actuators of sizes S and M and is supplied with approximately 1 metre long cable for each switch.
