Download PDFThe Danfoss RA 2944 thermostatic head automatically regulates the room temperature based on the currently measured temperature . The head temperature is measured by an integrated temperature sensor . It is equipped with frost protection , limiting the setting range and blocking the required temperature.
Head installation is quick and easy thanks to Danfoss latch mounting technology. Just put the head on the valve and push it until you hear a click. This connects the head to the valve. The connection can be secured against disassembly by purchasing and installing an anti-theft device.
The head should have a free space around it to ensure sufficient air circulation so that the integrated sensor can correctly sense the room temperature. Therefore, it is suitable for heaters that have enough space around them and are not surrounded by anything.
The head records the room temperature and uses it to set the degree of valve opening. The gas-filled bellows shrinks as the room temperature decreases, which opens the valve and supplies hot water to the radiator. After the room has warmed, the bellows expands again and the valve closes.
