The control panel, or the Regin ABV-S300 / D control unit, is intended for use with Regin S65 ... and SDD ... detectors. Multiple detectors can be connected to the control panel at the same time - up to 20 at a time . All connected detectors are powered by the control panel. The control panel is designed to comply with all modern fire protection regulations.

The unit constantly monitors and evaluates all data received from the detectors . The detectors are connected to the control panel using a two-wire loop (included with the detectors). A terminating resistor should be connected to the last detector in the loop. In the event of a short circuit or open circuit, the control panel will turn on a smoke alarm to report an error.

When smoke is detected, the control panel triggers the connected external smoke alarm device and lights up the red alarm LED . After the alarm, it is necessary to reset it with the RESET button.

The detectors are able to report the degree of their clogging to the control panel. If any of them is already too dirty with dust or other impurities, it will start flashing red, the yellow indicator light on the control panel will light up and the control panel will trigger a service alarm.

The control panel also has a green light, which indicates that the control panel is in operation.
