Schischek Ex Linear Actuators

Robust linear actuators by Schischek are designed for precise control of dampers and valves in demanding conditions. They are available in three versions depending on the environment in which they will be deployed:

ExRun – for explosive environments (zones 1, 2, 21, 22)

ExRun actuators meet ATEX and IECEx requirements and are intended for use in environments with explosive gases and dusts. With universal power supply (24–240 V AC/DC), high IP66 protection, and durable design, they can handle even the toughest industrial conditions.

RedRun – for Ex environments with lower classification (zones 2 and 22)

The RedRun series is suitable where there is a risk of explosion, but the conditions are not as stringent. Certification for zones 2 (gas) and 22 (dust) ensures reliability and safety while maintaining an affordable price.

InRun – for standard industrial applications (non-Ex)

InRun actuators have the same construction as ExRun but without Ex certification. They are suitable for regular operations where there is no risk of explosion – for example, in HVAC systems, technological units, or production lines.

Control Variants

• Y – modulation (0–10 V or 4–20 mA)
• U – floating control (open/close with analog feedback)
• S – auxiliary switches for position signaling

All linear actuators in the Run series – that is, ExRun, RedRun, and InRun – are standardly equipped with an integrated terminal box. This box allows direct electrical connection without the need for an external junction box. In the ExRun and RedRun versions, the terminal box is certified according to Ex-e. This makes installation quick, straightforward, and without the need for additional components.
