Smart Heating Siemens Connected Home

Siemens Connected Home is a modern home automation ecosystem for a smarter and more sustainable home. Thanks to zonal control and consumption optimization, it saves costs and energy and helps you achieve up to 30% savings on heating. The technology can adapt and connect with smart devices in the home, even when expanding the system. You can always add more smart devices to your Siemens Connected Home.

Siemens Connected Home smart heating is based on wireless communication. The components are easily installed without structural modifications into existing systems and paired with a ZigBee router in seconds. A traditional thermostat is not used for control; the ecosystem can be easily adapted to your household's needs using the Connected Home app on your phone or tablet. Simply connect the app to the router and set your heating requirements in no time. The ZigBee router controls the boiler via a switching unit and also manages the wireless radiator valves. The entire operation is conducted through a user-friendly app on your mobile phone, allowing you to control the heating from anywhere and adjust its settings as desired. The Connected Home system is largely self-sufficient and requires little customer attention after initial setup. Reliability and security of the smart heating are ensured by the ZigBee 3.0 protocol, and wireless communication functions even in the event of an internet outage.

Siemens Connected Home is a smart ecosystem for efficient and eco-friendly heating for both residential and commercial spaces, which can be used with all commonly available radiators. It is an excellent choice when selecting a heating automation system.

ZigBee router connects the components of the Siemens Connected Home smart heating system. It pairs with a smartphone or tablet app in seconds and controls the boiler and wireless radiator valves via the switching unit according to heating requirements. The ZigBee 3.0 protocol ensures reliability and security, and the router allows connection of up to 100 devices (including a maximum of 32 battery-powered devices). For larger applications, you can easily boost the signal by adding a signal repeater. Additionally, permanent internet connection is not required during operation. The switching unit is used for controlling the heat source and hot water preparation. It can be easily connected to the ZigBee router via the ZigBee 3.0 communication protocol and can also be used as a signal repeater. It controls the boiler based on heating demand and also allows manual activation of the output relays. Wireless radiator valves locally regulate the temperature of radiators. Integration into the smart heating system via the ZigBee network is as easy as with other components and takes only a few seconds. The valves feature a child safety lock, open window detection function, frost protection, and the temperature can be manually adjusted directly on the valve using control buttons. The valve package includes batteries required for their operation, with a lifespan of approximately 2 years.
