The SOVIK Kotelník fault signalling and control system provides continuous monitoring and indication of operating, fault and emergency states of heat sources and related technologies. The device is designed in line with modern safety requirements for gas boiler rooms and heat sources with an output above 100 kW, or from 50 kW.

Plug and Play

The system is designed as a complete solution for quick installation in a control panel and, for common applications, is factory-prepared in Plug and Play mode. For most uses in boiler rooms, there is no need to reconfigure the Kotelník system. The boiler room status can be monitored locally via the clear HMI display or via the SOVIK mobile app.

If required, Kotelník can be adapted to suit the boiler room’s needs.

Legislative standards and monitoring features of SOVIK Kotelník

Meet the legislative requirements

The SOVIK Kotelník system fully complies with the requirements of the ČSN EN 12828+A1 standard for hot-water heating systems with heat sources above 50 kW (or 100 kW). To ensure compliance with the applicable standard for gas boiler rooms ČSN 07 0703 and the gas industry rules TPG 904 01, the system is prepared to be supplemented with external detectors for flammable gas leaks and CO. Once these elements are integrated, SOVIK Kotelník forms a comprehensive safety node meeting all current legislative requirements.

Transition to a new generation

The Sovik Kotelník fault signalling system directly follows on from the tradition of Siemens Kotelník 1.0 and Siemens Kotelník 2 fault signalling systems. Sovik Kotelník is, as ever, built on high-quality Siemens Climatix hardware, enabling long-term use in industrial conditions.
