Medium Temperature
Temperature sensing can occur on pipes, heat exchangers, or boilers with mounted (most commonly brass or stainless steel) wells, into which a stem temperature controller sensor is inserted. Stem controllers operating from as low as -40°C are available. The working range of other types is then smoothly graduated up to controllers whose use begins, for example, at 70°C and a maximum of 140°C. Connection is made via a connector or terminals, so the controller is located right next to the well after installation. The well itself is usually included in the package, and whether it is made of brass or stainless steel can be found in the detailed product description - see documentation.
Also worth mentioning is the duct temperature controller, which is quite similar to stem controllers. Thanks to the large temperature sensor, which can be placed in the air handling shaft, it is particularly useful in air conditioning, ventilation, and cooling operations. It helps us compensate for outdoor temperature, the desired temperature can be set remotely, and the switching contact is load-dependent. In our offer, you can find it from the manufacturer Siemens.
