The IMI RTL temperature limiter limits the return water temperature that returns from the end radiator or from the end of the underfloor heating. When used for underfloor heating, it is designed for smaller rooms with an area of up to 15 m2. It can also be used for a combination of radiator and floor heating.

It is not recommended to install the limiter near the underfloor heating manifold, or anywhere else where it could be affected by excessive temperature. In that case, it would remain permanently closed. The set value on the limiter must not be set to a value lower than the temperature around the limiter.

The temperature is set using a thermostatic head , on which the required value is set by turning. The temperature of the flowing medium then passes to the sensor. If it is too high, the restrictor closes the flow and waits for the temperature to drop.
