Temperature sensor with cable is designed for temperature measurement in various industries as well as the so-called Home Building. It is used in an environment where it is not possible to place a classic type of sensor with a head for spatial or other reasons. They can be used for contact temperature measurement of liquid, solid or gaseous substances eg in the food industry, refrigeration, chemical and plastic industry.

The main part is the actual temperature sensor, which is located in a metal housing and its terminals are connected to the lead-in cable.

The cable is equipped with a shield, this shield is not connected to the housing or to any sensor wire.
