Available in NC (normally closed) and NO (normally open) versions. All control actuators allow installation in any position, including the position below the valve!
The actuator consists of a wax sensor and a return spring. Without a voltage signal, the actuator is maintained in the "closed" position by the spring's pre-tension. When voltage is applied to the wax sensor, its thermal expansion causes it to move to the "open" position. The actuator is supplied in a partially open position to allow filling and flushing of the system after installation and before connecting the control actuators to the measurement and regulation system.
