The thermostatic mixing valve ESBE series VTA 520 is a suitable component for universal use in domestic hot water installations equipped with HWC (hot water circulation). It is also suitable for smaller floor heating circuits (up to 50m2) if you want to pay special attention to the temperature and flow range.

Two non-return valves for hot and cold UV inlet included.

Usage

  • Distribution of fresh/drinking water
  • Water distribution with antifreeze (≤ 50% glycol mixture)
  • Closed water system

Installation example

Valve function

The thermostatic valve has an asymmetrical flow arrangement. The required temperature can be set using the rotary knob under the upper valve cover. It also has a very important anti-scalding function, which automatically shuts down the hot water supply if the cold water supply is interrupted.

Features

  • Pressure class: PN 10
  • Working pressure: 1.0 MPa (10 bar)
  • Differential pressure: Mixing, max. 0.3 MPa (3 bar)
  • Medium temperature: max. 95 °C / Temporary max 100 °C
  • Temperature stability: ± 4 °C
