The thermostatic mixing valve ESBE of the VTS 520 series is designed for high flow and equally high DHW distribution functionality connected to solar collector systems. Extremely durable components are absolutely necessary in solar collectors due to high water temperatures. The thermostatic valve is also suitable when one or more temperature control devices are installed on the water taps. The VTS valve is also suitable for the installation of domestic hot water equipped with HWC (hot water circulation).

Valve function

The VTS 520 valve has an asymmetrical water flow arrangement. It also contains a very important feature: protection against scalding by hot water. The principle of the function is that in case of a cold water supply failure, the hot water supply automatically stops.
