The ESBE thermostatic mixing valve of the VTA 370 series is designed especially for underfloor heating systems that require protection against scalding by hot water. This protection is necessary both for the pipes in the floor and at the same time for the floor itself.

This thermostatic valve is also suitable for premixing in domestic hot water systems requiring high flow rates. In this case, additional, mandatory water temperature control devices must be placed on the water taps to ensure protection at the point of consumption.

The thermostatic valve can also be used for cooling applications.

Valve function

The valve has an asymmetrical flow arrangement . It is also equipped with protection against scalding - if the cold water supply is interrupted, the valve automatically shuts off the hot water supply.
