The ULM-53 level meter is a compact device with an electroacoustic transducer and an electronic module . The inverter emits ultrasonic pulses that bounce off the surface and are received by the inverter and sent to the module for further processing. The level is finally determined on the basis of the temperature in the tank and the time for which the pulses travel to the surface. The result is transmitted by an output signal 0 ... 10 V.
Non-contact measurement enables continuous or limit level measurement even in demanding industrial applications . Thanks to their measuring principle, they can be used to measure the levels of adhesives, wastewater, suspensions, resins, etc. In certain applications, the level meter can also be used to measure the height of bulk materials, but it is better to discuss this method with the manufacturer.
