Quandify Water Grip is a smart water leak detector that clips externally onto water pipework. Using ultrasound, it continuously monitors the flow directly inside the pipe and, the moment it detects a leak, sends an alert to the mobile app. It also measures cold, hot and total water consumption, as well as temperature – giving you a complete overview of what is happening in the pipework.
Water Grip is suitable for family homes, flats and holiday properties. You can install it on the main water supply pipe in a utility room or cellar, where it will monitor all leaks throughout the entire property, or locally under the kitchen unit, in the bathroom or utility room, wherever the risk of leakage is highest. It is also ideal for cottages, holiday homes and rental properties that are often left unattended for long periods, where even a minor leak can cause major damage within just a few days.

Water Grip does not wait for a puddle to appear on the floor. Ultrasonic technology detects abnormal flow and changes in water behaviour directly inside the pipework – exactly where leaks usually occur. This means it reacts before water has time to damage floors, walls or electrical wiring. The moment something is not right, you receive a push notification on your mobile.
In addition to leak protection, Water Grip also works as a detailed consumption meter. It monitors hot, cold and total water separately, so you can easily identify where and when money is literally going down the drain at home. Thanks to the data in the app, you will better understand your habits and can consciously reduce both your water and water heating bills.
Water Grip clips directly onto the outside of the pipework – there is no need to cut pipes, drain the system or call a plumber. The universal bracket fits copper, plastic and multilayer pipes in standard domestic sizes. Simply find the supply pipe (or local pipe), clean off any paint and insulation, and complete pairing by following the guide in the app.
Water Grip does not have to operate in isolation. For smart home enthusiasts, integration with Home Assistant (via HACS) and a community app for Homey Pro are available. This allows you to combine consumption data and device status with your scenes, automations and other sensors.

No. Water Grip is mounted externally on the pipework, so anyone can install it in just a few minutes. There is no need to cut pipes, drain water or use special tools.
If you want to keep the entire property under control, place Water Grip on the main supply pipe – in a house typically in the cellar or utility room, in a flat in the service cupboard or behind an access panel. For local protection of a specific area, you can also install it on a pipe in the kitchen, bathroom or utility room.
Water Grip has a universal bracket. It works with plastic pipework (PEX) with diameters of 16–25 mm, multilayer pipework (PAL) 16–32 mm, and copper pipework 15–28 mm (15–22 mm for chrome-plated copper). Other materials and sizes should be checked with the retailer.
