The VTC422 thermostatic filling valve is used to fill storage tanks and especially to protect the boiler against low-temperature corrosion up to 150 kW. The valve ensures a stable higher return water temperature to the boiler throughout the combustion. This reduces tarring, increases efficiency, extends boiler life and reduces emissions. The thermostatic filling valve is suitable for installation on the return to the boiler, or for filling storage tanks.

Valve function

The valve contains a thermostatic cartridge which opens the inlet A at the temperature of the mixed water outlet at the outlet AB of a given ° C. If the temperature in inlet A exceeds the nominal opening temperature by 10 ° C, inlet B closes completely. It is recommended to use ball shut-off valves in the application to facilitate possible service.

Service and maintenance

The VTC 422 thermostatic fill valve does not require any special maintenance when operating under normal conditions. Spare parts are available for all major valve parts. Part replacement can be done without having to remove the valve from the application.
