Download PDFThe Honeywell DCM6 universal pressure switch is used for switching and monitoring overpressure. It can be used in mechanical engineering, the printing industry, pneumatics and hydraulics. The switch is primarily intended for falling pressure, therefore the setting of the switching value on the scale corresponds to the point at falling pressure. The reset point of the switch is then higher by the value of the difference between the two values. The area between the reset point and the switching value determines the differential tolerance in which the pressure can move arbitrarily without switching on. The tolerance range is fixed at the factory and cannot be reset.
The pressure passing through the switch through the connection (1) acts on the measuring bellows (2). When it is changed, the bellows move, their movement is transmitted through the pressure pin (4) to the connecting bridge (5). As the pressure rises, the bridge pushes on the switching element (7) and actuates it. The counterweight is secured by a spring (8). The switching element can be calibrated using the screw (11). The back-pressure spring (12) is designed for stable switching even at a low set value.
