Connection of control thermostats can be wired or wireless via Zigbee 3.0 technology. New thermal actuators are connected to the controller via wire. If you already have 24V thermal actuators, they can be connected using a conversion module.
The installation and setup of Danfoss Icon2 can be easily done using a mobile app for commissioning on mobile devices.
The Danfoss Icon2 range offers high variability and adaptability to household needs. It is a zonal control solution. It includes four types of thermostats with varying advanced features and control regulators monitoring the temperature throughout the property. Available in both wired and wireless versions with the option to connect everything to a mobile app for easier installation and remote management.
The Danfoss Icon2 system knows the approximate size of the heated rooms, which allows it to heat all rooms evenly. Water in the pipes tends to flow along the path of least resistance, choosing shorter loops under smaller rooms. This creates an imbalance, where smaller rooms receive more heating water and are heated faster than larger rooms, which receive less water. Danfoss Icon2 solves this problem by fairly distributing heat according to room sizes.

The Icon2 system is fully compatible with the Danfoss Ally radiator system. Mixed heating is therefore not a problem at all, the temperature in the system is controlled by either the Ally or Icon system, and it is entirely up to the user which one they choose as the master. Through the Danfoss Ally mobile app, both systems can be controlled with voice assistants Alexa, Siri, and Google Home.
